I can’t believe it but my little man turns FOUR today!!! Four just seems so soo big to me! Tell me I’m not alone? Right? Four IS big.. right???
This morning I woke up (as he jumped on me in the bed and yelled… “it’s my burrfffDAY”) and I thought gosh I remember exactly where I was and how I was feeling at this time four years ago! He wasn’t even here yet… we still had a few more hours to go! At the same time, I can’t even remember what life was like before he was here! I can’t imagine what we did or how we entertained ourselves! What did we talk about or what did we laugh about because this guy sure is our comic relief! Having children sure is funny that way!
Linc sure is a force in our lives… a great one! We should have known what to expect as soon as we found out we were pregnant because he was a presence even from the first few weeks! If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Linc in person… what you see in his pictures is only half of the personality that he gives you in real life!
He is amazingly strong willed and full of life and energy! He loves to laugh and he loves to make people laugh (always the joker and most likely the class clown!) He loves to run and when I say run… this little man can run miles, like actual miles around a real track! He’s a born swimmer and some day will end up choosing a sport and will excel to great lengths I’m sure!
Over these four years, I’ve seen his perseverance intensity to overcome and accomplish and it truly makes me proud!
He has the best of both character traits from Tuck and myself! He has a magic about him that makes my heart sing! He loves to pretend and has a great imagination! He gets so excited about everything and it truly lights him up! I think that’s why I love living where we do at the moment: seeing him walk through Disney and enjoying even the smallest details again and again with as much excitement as the first time… it’s incredible! It’s magic on it’s own!
At Four: Linc is loving:
- Everything Star Wars, Dinosaurs and Team Hot Wheels!
- Favorite Foods are still Chicken (Rotisserie or Grilled) and Hummus. I think they always will be!
- Favorite Desserts are Homemade Popsicles
- Favorite Song: I like to Move it Move it (or anything by the Crazy Frog)
- Favorite Books: The Lorax by Dr Seuss or any story that Daddy makes up
- Favorite Color: Blue
- Favorite Character: Kylo Ren or Emperor Palpatine (yes my kid is a super weirdo)
Happy Birthday Lincoln… We love you so much little man! The three’s were such a crazy year for us and such a big year too! We had lots of big adventures from visiting Disney in October for Mickey’s Not So Scary to deciding to move to Disney in March! You really found your personality and what we like to call your “little lawyer” in the three year old age and we are excited to see what the four year age brings to us next! We love your spunk and your energy and how you always keep us laughing and on our toes! Every day is a new adventure filled with laughter and love and possibilities!!!
In no such order… here are just a small selection of my favorite pictures from this past year!
