You get engaged and can hardly tear your eyes away from the ring on your finger!  Then you start the wedding planning process….and you find the dress!  It’s beautiful, it’s perfect in every way and it makes you feel like you’ve never felt before!

The wedding day comes and you put that dress on and it’s amazing!  The day is perfect, the night is even more perfect and the dress… perfect!

But then what?!  The dress comes off and hangs in the closet; a reminder of your magical most perfect night.

Unless… you put that dress back on and have another photo session!

I completely understand why some girls absolutely do not want to even entertain the thought of a trash the dress session.  Why would you EVER  want to trash something that special?  Those girls that get those sessions done must be out of their minds.

I’ve been one of those girls my friends and in my opinion:  it’s totally worth it!  Trash The Dress sounds scary and way more dramatic than it actually is!  You don’t have to trash it at all, not even close.  Which is why sometimes I like to refer to these sessions as a rock the frock.

This type of session is just another way for you to get some beautiful pictures in your gorgeous dress.  It’s another time where you get to put that amazing dress on and feel just as you did on your wedding day.  You get to choose what you do and how you want to look without the stress of worrying about the dress getting wrinkled, or a little sandy, or a little dirty, maybe even a little wet!

Lindsay was looking to do a trash the dress since she and Duke got married 11 months ago!  She wanted to go ALL out and they absolutely did!  We traipsed all over the sand and dirt and grass and our grande finale… in the bay!

Lindsay and Duke were so much fun!  They have the type of relationship where anything could be going on around them yet they only see each other!

They are completely goofy and crazy and ridiculously in love.

Duke is always making jokes and Lindsay is always laughing.  The two of them together, you just know they always have so much fun… no matter what is going on.  They lift each other up and keep each other grounded!

Here are some of my favorites from our session that evening!

Thanks so much Lindsay and Duke!  You guys completely rocked the house!!!

xoxo
