This might be one of my all time favorite sunrise sessions to date! I absolutely adore these cutie pie twins and when their seriously amazing momma started telling me her idea for their first year photos and smashing… I have to admit I was out of my mind excited!!!
It’s no secret I love the beach! It’s no secret that sunrise sessions are one of my favorites because I have always been an early riser! I am also a surfer and have been ever since I can remember (more to come on that tomorrow!!) So when K started talking about all these together, I could hardly contain my excitement!
I met this sweet family back when I helped to shoot their wedding with Elizabeth Friske! K and J had a super intimate wedding in Sandbridge and it was the perfect wedding for these surfing and beach loving adventure fun couple! Shortly after, K contacted me because they were starting their family… a family not only with one little but TWO littles… twins!
I’ve been extremely blessed to get to know them on this wild journey and I have to tell you…I feel like watching K dive into motherhood with twins with such grace and sense of fun has helped me dive into motherhood as well!
I am so thankful for K’s great friend who came with us and helped us on our beachy sunrise session! It was kind of funny to watch us three girls trek down to the ocean with two babies, a surfboard, a wagon filled to the brim, a tank of air to fill the balloons, a cake, outfit changes, etc! We made it though just as the sun was rising over the ocean in the most magnificent and breathtaking way! We saw colors of pinks and blues and purples and yellows! If you have never been out to sandbridge for the sunrise or sunset, please take the opportunity to go! I promise you… it will overwhelm you it’s so stunning!

Happy One year birthday girls!!! You are getting so big and taking on so many adventures and challenges!! I can’t wait to continue to watch you grow and take on even bigger adventures in the years to come!!!
