The day was beautifully bright with just a hint of cloud cover. It was a little bit on the chilly side, letting us know that October was really setting in and Novemeber weather on it’s way!
Hand in hand, Elizabeth and RJ walked down the beach to a nice sheltered spot where we could set up our details. Bodie, stayed close behind but back just enough so he could explore all the smells!
Elizabeth and RJ were married exactly one week from this day and with Bodie in toe… they were now a family of 3!
You can feel all the love they have for one another just by stealing a quick glance. You can tell by the way RJ looks at Elizabeth: sometimes he looks with a smirk on his face, like he’s living in the moment of one of their inside jokes. All he has to do is look at her like this and she begins to laugh!
You can tell how sweet their love is by the closing of their eyes whenever they are both close, touching head to head. It’s a sweet and tender moment filled with every beautiful word in the English language that doesn’t need to be spoken between them. They just know.
They have been together for more than 7 years so theirs is a love that is beyond comfortable. It’s a love that is filled with unconditional acceptance, filled with friendship built on top of passion, and a love that is self-less.
During our session that afternoon, I could see their love playing out for years to come. I could see them as parents filling their house with laughter and silliness and patience! I could see them growing older together and still looking at each other with the same grace and admiration! I could see us years from now session after session documenting their love and life together; only growing more beautiful and more sweet as the days go by!
